The Advisory Work Group (AWG) was formed in 2011 to address a wide range of issues.

The group will help assess seams issues between Subregional Planning Organizations to understand needs across planning areas and to work more regionally. The group also intends to follow policy issues that affect transmission planning.

The group expects to engage planners from SWAT, CTPG and other SPGS.
