The Final 2007 WestConnect Planning Report and Transmission Plan have been approved by the Planning Management Committee (PMC) on Jan. 17, 2008, and are available for reference. Presentation of the WestConnect Transmission Plan and Planning Report

The Plan and Planning Report will be presented for approval at the Annual WestConnect Planning Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 17. The meeting will be at Nevada Power Company Pearson, Building – Meeting Room 3, 6226 W. Sahara Avenue, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

Preparation of the Documents

Preparation of these two subregional planning documents was made possible with the coordination and cooperation of the WestConnect subregional participants, project sponsors and other interested parties.

Drafts of both documents were posted for public review on December 4, 2007, (Planning Report (.pdf), Transmission Plan (.pdf)) as stated in the announcement titled “WestConnect Request Comments on its DRAFT 2007 WestConnect Planning Report and Transmission Plan“ and underwent a two week review period with publicly vented review and comment (Planning Report (.doc), Transmission Plan (.doc)).

The input from the interested parties and review and comment results were complied and incorporated into the reports to produce the final products.
